The “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” crowd, comprising a significant portion of the financial services industry, does all that it can 365 days a year (366 days on leap years) to protect their “always bullish” rhetoric.
But from about Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve, they especially take pride in a “Bah-Humbug-Free-Zone” when it comes to the stock market.
They do that in part by promoting one of their all-time-best fables, “The Santa Claus Rally”.
So, despite a stock market that sooner or later is going to come down hard, and possibly ushering-in the worse-ever bear market in modern times, I will not be known among my clientele as “Bah-humbug Pete” (I’m already called much worse – lol).
I’m likely going to hold my present short position, but not add to it, until the New Year (assuming that the “happy” people can manage to pump this stock market bubble even further).
We continue to work on a new “markets and economy only” website and we are restructuring the Peter Grandich Company website (Trinity’s website will be addressed only after these first two are completed).
The “markets and economy only” website will be for clients-only and viewing the website will require an access code. Details will be announced when we get closer to launch.
Let me wish you an early “Happy Thanksgiving:” and a most-blessed Christmas season. If you need me, I can be found here:
