In my book, “Confessions of a Former Wall Street Whiz Kid”, Chapter 3 is entitled “The Media Crowns The Kid”. I noted that it was an appearance on the “Eva Dorn Show” on the old Financial News Network (FNN) back in 1987, that propelled my “half-famous” career on Wall Street.
That interview with Eva, along with a very young Bill Griffith and Neal Cavuto (who for about 3 years, had me on regularly on CNBC-TV “before” it became “Tout-TV”), can be seen on this video (which was actually a video I had made in the early 1990’s as a sales marketing tool and personal “ego booster”).
This former “legend in his own mind”, turned out not to be anywhere as smart as the perception was for over 30 years. But if you ever need expertise from someone who lost millions not once, but twice – I’m your man!
P.S. On this video, you will see Steve Crowley, the former Business Editor of ABC’s “Good Morning America”. It is Steve who originally coined me the “Wall Street Whiz Kid”. Here’s my interview with Steve 28 years later.
