Now I Know Why I Was Told as a Child to Respect My Elders

Back in 2009, I moved into a 55 and over community (even though I was only 53 at the time) because I needed to care for my 88 year-old mother (who has since moved into an assistant living facility).

I would see for my own eyes:

  • Never ever fully retire. Those who have are far less happy than those that are still working and/or active part-time working and/or volunteering somewhere.
  • There’s little or no real gold in your golden years – do it while your young-lol
  • The 55 and over group will play a critical pole in the economic, social and political future of America.

This is an excellent website to start to appreciate the role this group shall play. Your financial planning must take this into account.
