Sunday Thought

Despite not a drop of Irish in me (verified by Ancestry.com) , all things Irish became a big part of my life after marrying a born and raised Irish Lass from Birr, County Offaly Ireland, in her home town, on April 20, 1981.

This week is jam-packed Irish for me; starting today with Gerry Cooney visit to Spring Lake, tomorrow evening the Wolf Tones, an Irish social at our Chamber meeting on Wednesday, St. Patrick’s Day, and then our sponsorship of the Irish heritage harness drivers race at Freehold Raceway. Thrown in yet another viewing of my three favorite Irish movies, Brooklyn, The Quiet Man and Waking Ned Devine, and a major snow storm here on Tuesday (good day to watch all the movies), and it will be a busy week for this lover of all things Irish.

May you be so kind as to watch this short video and know I truly pray it for you.

God Bless,

Peter

P.S. And, may on the day of my own funeral, may my best friends have found me worthy enough to gather after and give me a parting Ned Devine toast.
