Sunday Thought

“If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.”  Matthew 6:14-15

Earlier this year, after several years of carrying unforgiveness in my heart towards some people I felt hurt me, I took it upon myself to contact them, asking for forgiveness for being upset with them. This action would’ve been impossible if not for two people, both of whom performed acts of forgiveness that still echo in my soul after learning of them.

One of them was through a public display a couple of years ago in a courtroom in Ocean County, NJ. It was done by a man named Dan Duddy, who yesterday, I had an opportunity to pay tribute to, thanks to my good friend and NY Jets legend, Joe Klecko.

I urge you to read this article and watch the video. I truly pray after you do that you find forgiveness in your heart for any and all hurts placed there by others. The freedom from letting go is truly a gift from God.
