The Man Who Started It All

I recently noted I was reunited with the man who help “light up” my national media presence back in 1988 by featuring me on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and naming me the “Wall Street Whiz Kid.”

Well before even that, there was a man who allowed me to have my first ever TV interview way back in 1985. Ironically, we’ve become reacquainted after so many years at a point now when those of us on the Jersey Shore would get to see him covering the annual Belmar St. Patrick’s Day Parade. I’m speaking about Bill Jamieson, who hosted Monmouth Cablevision’s “Bill Jamieson Show”, of which I did my very first interview on (and who covered the yearly parade with Bill and Mary Reilly as TV anchors – where did the time go?).

Thank you Bill for taking a nervous, know-nothing (some say I’m still that-lol) financial advisor and giving him his first break.

Bill still performs throughout the Tri-State area. Please visit his website here.

Perhaps I will get to see Bill one more time this Sunday standing as the Belmar St. Patrick’s Day Parade marches by.
