What A Rush
For over 30 years, I’ve visited Spring Lake, NJ well over 1,000 times. I joke I should be their Tourism Poster Boy! It was a dream to live, and/or work there.
Tomorrow (Landlord has graciously allowed me in earlier than planned), I will be given the keys to a new office for Trinity at 219B Morris Ave in Spring Lake.
First and foremost:
There are so many people to thank, none more than the professional athletes who have been board members, clients and most important, dear friends, all of whom lent their well-earned reputations to our company – THANK YOU!
Knowing how much personal joy this will lead to as I put the keys into the lock for the first time, there shall be a few moments of sadness that one person who not just lent me his name and joined our board in the early days, but was one-half of the greatest team ever in sports entertainment in my book, isn’t here on Earth to share this day with me.
Michael Hegstrand (Hawk) and his partner Joe Laurinaitis (Animal), literally made me a great friend overnight and gave me no greater experience in all of sports and entertainment over a weekend of wrestling and hanging out with so many wrestling greats!
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”
